Council 40 has reserved room blocks with special rates at six hotels located in
Middleton/Madison (see below). In order to guarantee the room rate, it will be important
for you to identify yourself as part of Wisconsin Council 40 AFSCME room block.

B. HOTEL RESERVATIONS: All reservations for your elected delegates and observers should be
made directly to the hotel (ask for Wisconsin Council 40 AFSCME room block). The deadline
date is March 16. After this date, rooms will be offered to the public.
C. GUARANTEES: To guarantee individual reservations, it will be necessary to provide the
hotel with one night’s deposit, in advance. Reservations may also be guaranteed with
a major credit card. The deposit will be forfeited for all no shows.
D. CONFIRMATIONS: You will be given a confirmation number from the reservationist at the
hotel. This number should be given to the person who has the reservation. It will be
important to have this number when checking in at the hotel.
E. CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the arrival date
in order to avoid forfeiture of deposit.
SOCIAL HOUR/BANQUET/ENTERTAINMENT (Saturday, April 17): The Social Hour will be from
6:00-7:00 pm. The Banquet will be at 7:00 pm, followed by entertainment.
