provided for meeting attendance. Any member who would like to serve on an advisory committee should
write to Council 40 President Michael Murphy before August 8.

ST. CROIX COUNTY APPEAL. . .Part of the St. Croix County Board is bent on selling the St. Croix
County Health Center
to a private sector concern. The members of Local 2721 are fighting to save their
county jobs. There’s substantial community support for keeping the Health Center a county owned and
operated facility, but we need to reach many more citizens. A grassroots campaign is underway to
convince the County Board to keep the Health Center for the good of all concerned. Contributions are
needed now. Please make checks payable to AFSCME Local 2721, Denise Voeltz, Treasurer, 2915
